Skipping Rocks

The big news is that Playmill just had its 50th birthday.
H A P P Y  B I R T H D A Y
I met a guy at the Playmill one evening named Bill,
and this man is astounding.
He has traveled the world + can make a ton of friends in seconds,
Over the pass couple of years he has invited the cast over to his cabin.
It was a fun filled evening.
Later that day, we got a group together and went on another adventure.
There were so many times today where I wanted to kiss the ground I was seeing,
this place is beautiful.
I was grateful to have a moment to take my shoes off, laugh, and skip some rocks on the water.
The definition of today is, P E A C E

Happy Dad Day

Ever since I was a little girl my Dad has been one of my best friends.
If you know my Dad you will know that you personally already have a nickname + if not, its coming.
My nickname is Colie Pie.
Classy.
My Dad is a hero because he sacrifices for my family + others,
He will make you laugh so hard it hurts.
He is one of the best listeners I know,
+ the best chocolate milkshake maker this side of the Mississippi.
We call it whippy chocolate.
Dad, thanks for being the best father a girl could ask for,
for being a father to Justin and loving him as your own,
+ for believing and supporting me.
You're the bees knees.
Love love love you.

Hello Sun! Nice to See You Again...

This day was an awesome fantastic day!
We went on a hike to Targhee Creek Hill, then
later that afternoon headed up to Hebgen Lake.
Needless to say,
we got in touch with our nature side.
+ we loved every minute.
It's hard to beat sitting around the fire with
people you love, burying people in the sand,
singing songs, jumping in the water with clothes on,
+ watching the sun go down.
Priceless.

Playmill Stage

Since I was two years old, I've been coming to a summer theatre house called the Playmill.
If you've never been I would recommend you go.
It's the bees knees::
Back in the day~
My parents would patiently wait after a show to let me dance on the stage, + it then became a dream to be there.
The place + people who worked there made me feel special, like I was important to them.
This summer my husband + I auditioned + had the blessed opportunity to go.
There were no hesitations to be had.
N O N E.
I'm now on the stage that moved me as a little girl, + I hope to help those who come smile and feel loved the way I've felt coming here year after year.
My heart, however, is filled even more as I meet the people who come, to my husband who loves me and buckles up for the adventures we take, and for the friends and family who surround our lives.
"Life is a stage," Shakespeare says,
I guess we will always be there for each other whichever stage of life we are in.
